Our mission is to develop a novel, automated and high throughput prostate cancer diagnostics tool based on Raman spectroscopy.
SiDaLuk utilizes a patent-protected method to develop a device, which extracts sufficient information about a tissue sample’s chemical composition to differentiate between normal and malignant states. In this way chemical markers are employed to reliably diagnose cancer or to monitor a patient’s response to cancer treatment. An automated diagnostic decreases patient wait times and thus increase the standard of care. Simultaneously, the healthcare costs will be decreased, especially as the early detection of prostate cancer at a more treatable stage.
